1. What Teres is

Teres is a booking platform that connects AI agents with businesses. We facilitate the creation, management, and cancellation of appointments between customers (via AI agents) and businesses that have connected their booking software to Teres.

2. Accounts

Business owners create an account to connect their booking platform. You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. One account per business.

3. How bookings work

When an AI agent creates a booking through Teres, we pass the booking details to the business’s connected platform (Square, Acuity, etc.). The booking is created on that platform — Teres acts as the intermediary. The business’s own cancellation policies apply.

4. Free tier

Businesses receive up to 50 agent-created bookings per month at no cost. We may introduce paid tiers in the future with advance notice.

5. Reviews

Customers can leave reviews for businesses they’ve booked with. Reviews must be based on a real booking. We reserve the right to remove reviews that are fraudulent, abusive, or violate these terms.

6. Your responsibilities

• Keep your booking platform connected and your availability up to date.
• Honor bookings created through Teres as you would any other booking.
• Don’t use the platform for anything illegal or harmful.

7. Our responsibilities

• We’ll make reasonable efforts to keep the service available and reliable.
• We’ll protect your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
• We won’t sell your data or your customers’ data.

8. What we’re not responsible for

Teres is an intermediary. We’re not responsible for:

• The quality of services provided by businesses
• Disputes between businesses and customers
• Downtime or errors on connected platforms (Square, Acuity)
• Actions taken by AI agents beyond our control

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination, we’ll delete your data within 30 days, except where required by law.

10. Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the dashboard.
